Maintenance of optical components of laser cutting machine:
Once the optical components of laser cutting machines are contaminated or even adhere to small particles of cutting products, cleaning them is an extremely important and often overlooked issue. Here are some cleaning points:
It should be noted that acetone easily absorbs moisture and water from the air to contaminate the acetone itself, so it is necessary to tightly cover the acetone bottle. The laser cutting machine must not pour the remaining acetone solution after cleaning back into a new acetone bottle.
(2) Cleaning of reflector lenses: Remove the lenses from the frame; Place the lens paper on the mirror surface with the mirror facing upwards; Drop a few drops of acetone on the lens paper, use a laser cutting machine and gently pull the lens paper over the mirror surface; Repeat the above process until the mirror surface is clean and free from dirt and residue; Install the lens into the mirror holder again.
If a molybdenum mirror is used as a reflector, as it cannot be coated and can be directly used after polishing, it can be cleaned with water (soap water or water containing detergent). Laser cutting machines cannot clean lenses with coatings on other surfaces with water, as many coatings dissolve in water and the lenses will be damaged.
